i had a mac with protools le and mbox because my friends had to payback a loan to me. but he has paid it up so im protool and mbox less. i have a lap top computer my self. a compaq persario 700 with (amd athlon) windows home ed. xp. um 597 mhz 496 ram. ok thats my lap top specs. i want to get the mbox again but i think you cant run protools on a amd athlon chip. im not sure. how about digi oo1 can that be hook up to a laptop cause i really want lots of inputs outlets..(6 but 8 is the key)..i got a mpc and motif and i want to be able to just record on lots of tracks. what do you know about the echo layla sound card. i was also looking and the event ezbus sound card and also the ews 88 mt sound card. my heart is set on something from digidesign but if i cant get that what other sound cards do yall recomend. dont forget i would like the more the better inputs. holla back[/color]
