Hollow sun vs. akai-site sounds!

fellers i ve got a question!

i ve downloaded some hollow sun sounds in the past! now akai makes them available for the mpc 1000! are they different/better?

my internet connection is a nightmare! ... unstabile and slow! it took me ages to get some kids from hollowsun so i don't wanna spend xtrahours for downloadin sounds which i already have!

also, they're mapped out for the mpc 1000! i ve got a 4000! is the layerin of the samples the same for the 1000 as for the 4000?

It's the same thing.

Hollow Sun is just doing a deal with Akai on the MPC 1000 series.

They are looking at focusing a whole new sample library just for the 1000 series.

(I guess that's the model Akai wants to push at the moment.)

Hollow Sun samples still work with other models you just have to use MPC editor or load the wavs on the MPC and create a new PGM
