It is called a tubular bell. Although the jv-1080 has one, it sounds too thin. Back in 96 I had a boss dr synth and it had one of the phattest bell I've ever heard. The Roland xp 10 has a very similar sound and is probably easier to find. Also check out the alesis qs 6. If you want something very realistic try the kurzweil orchestral card. Also try finding a sound effects cd or sample from somewhere. good luck.
P.S. I read an article about the producer of Makaveli and I found out that album was made on very limited keyboards I can't remeber but one was an early 90's roland (not the xp series) and another was an early 90's korg (not the trinity). I bet lot of the sound we hear comes from studio processing so mess with some compression and layers.
