asr 10 or korg triton?

i really want to buy a keyboard ,but i dont know which one though.its either the asr 10 or a triton.......... i already own a xl fully loaded.....im leaning toward the asr cause of all da sick ass features but the asr doesnt have any preloaded sounds in it right??? ....and the korg triton does...but cant u load instruments sounds on to the asr and use as a normal keyboard?which one do you guys think is the best machine to get.....any insight will be surely appreciated.thankx fellas

I never used an ASR but you are right, its a sampler. You are compairing 2 differnt pieces, and both are nasty. You can make multi kits on the MPC and play them thru the keyboard thats on the Triton, but then you won't have the effects and filters from the ASR. I would say you already have a sampler, go for the ROMpler. I got a Motif, and since I got it, I started making tracks a lot faster because all the presets are right there for you to use, and you can tweak it a lil after you sequence. It might take you a long time to build a comprehesive sound library for the ASR.

Get the triton, You get instant gratification. There will always be asr-10's around. For that matter though ther will always be tritons also.

the asr is dope and it doesnt come with any sounds. you have to do everything by ear when editing the samples but you can do that on the mpc. the asr-10 is easy to use but the loop function on there sucks. the seq on the asr sucks also. it gives you that grimy sound. if you have the money i would get the triton

if you already have a sequencer/sampler in the MPC and are just looking for a keyboard/synth with good sounds. IMO you can get something that will sound better as well as WAYYYY more original than the triton for the same cash relatively.

I have to agree, I would go with the Yamaha Motif ES 6. It's the hottest board on the market right now IMO.
