Best way to track or beat Organization when tracking

Aight heres a situation I been having some issues wit. Im starting to go into the business
with my music , but one thing gots me thinking mass. how do you organize the beat for
artists or recording. heres an example: This cat has a song that has three verses - 1st is
8 bars - 2nd is 12 - 3rd is 8. And I made the beat 16 bar verses (this is just an example).
Now I see it a couple ways

1 - I keep the beat in the mpc and re-organize it that way when the mc has his bars down , then track. Cons are i have to track and then do the mixing taking longer.

2 - i track in pieces then loop them and piece them on how the mc has the song. This way i get mixing done before the mc but can get frustrating piecing stuff together.

3 - just make the beat the way i want it and have the mc work around the bars of the beat i made. Con wit this is you get that mc the cant work out of his/her routine.

just looking for ways to do it and any probs.. that have come up with the ways people
do it.

P.S. Yes i know it is a preference so save that , looking for just the facts!!!

an organized way of doing this would be:
1) if you havent named your tracks, do that for every sequence that youve created.
2) make sure that the tracks stay consistant from sequence to sequence (i.e. if the first sequence you program your kick on track 1, snare on 2, hat on 3, melody on 4 etc. make sure that stays the same for all other sequences)

that is the tedious part, the rest is simple.
my advice is to structure the song in song mode because its simple.

first, obviously be aware of the length of your verse loop (2 bars, 4 bars, whatever.)

if its a 4 bar loop, first verse is 8 bars, make it repeat 2x
then put in your chorus , that usually repeats 2x or however many you decide, insert your verse loop 3x to fill out the 12 bars, chorus im guessing again, then repeat 2x for the 8 bars. press play, and youre done.

its easy for you to work with the emcee this method. you have the ability to tailor to his tracks, might as well. itll give you practice with song structures too.

Couple of Questions:
1) What are you tracking to?
2) Why can't the artist write 3 16 bar verses?

Suggestions:
1) If you're tracking to the computer, just track it straight from a sequence that has all of the instruments/sounds playing at once, i.e. the hook, for say 3.5 minutes. Then go through on the computer and do your dropouts manually.
2) If your tracking to an ADAT, make the artist write 16 bars or set it up for 12,8,12 in the MPC sequence/song.

i do lace my joints in 2bar loops... forget that one big 16bar sequence..... unless you've sat with the emcee while your making the beat...and you guys talked beforehand...

its easier go quickly to the correct 2bar sequence... or just leave a sequence out.... or just loop a sequence... so for me... cutting a 16 bar verse to 12 is no problem.... i just leave two sequences out...

thats one of the frustrations you'll go through when producing for cats... when you have pre-made beats...

yea i feel that. i work small and only convert my verses to one loop if its my track and i know what i want, or after its shown to the emcee and time for tracking.

Yeah, I do 4 bar sequences, makes it way easier to set the song up. That's for me though, when I'm working with some one I try to keep a uniform setup. My sequences are still 4 bars but my songs are set up for 16 bar verses and 4 to 8 bar hooks. Just how I do things.
