Why tell me if you can't prove it or show a pic or something.
Like I'm supposed to get all up in arms about it, lmao.

I'm happy with mine and that's all that counts.

Downloaded and saved different PCG's throughout the years and end up with a completely new keyboard every time I load one. GOTTA love that!

Is your keyboard capable of loading pcg's like the triton series is?
If so, those are patches that change the whole rom/roms of the keyboard and you end up with a whole new kybd it seems like. I have several. You can find them all over the web free.

I was needing to reload my OS and I found this, maybe someone else can user it somewhere down the line, idk.

TRITON Extreme EasyStart

TRITON Extreme - Music Workstation/Sampler
Operating System Version 1.06
This is the latest Operating System update for the TRITON Extreme. This update addresses a small bug.
We always recommend the use of the most current software to all users.
The TRITON Extreme uses the CompactFlash slot to receive the O.S. Data. For this reason, you need to have a CompactFlash reader/writer attached to your computer to complete this upgrade.
If you do not have a CompactFlash reader/writer for your computer, you can install CompactFlash media into your TRITON Extreme, and use the USB STORAGE MODE of the TRITON Extreme (In the MEDIA mode) to copy the files via USB. To accomplish this you will need a USB cable.
A full set of instructions and release history is included in this download in a .pdf document.

Anyone know how to change banks on TR Rack via midi sequencer? I know how to dial in programs via my 4k midi track program field, easy, but I've never figured out how to change the bank or if that's even possible. I have a triton extreme keyboard, tr rack is what I was wondering about.

Check chap 9, pg22, midi applications, "However the actual bank select won't happen until program select is subsequently received" is what I was reading so far.

i just traded my TR RACK, but i stumbled upon this torrent of a CD [ISO image] with everything you could/would ever need as a trinity/tr-rack owner... i figured it would be a good contribution to this thread as the CD contains every program, manual, & patch ever made available for the trinity series... hope it comes in handy to my fellow forum members... enjoy:

you guys are the greatest.

Lampdog, i havnt tired it but im pretty certain if your have your mpc to control bank changes, you need to have;

MSB set at 0 and LSB set at 32. And bank changes enabled on the TR rack (i have overwritten factory settings on TR rack so it is always ready to run).

Crossings, that is also very very dope. Are those PC cables hard to get, and as a TR owner would i be silly not to try chase down these files?

your both AWESOME!!! :nod:

Adding to this;

i keep reading that the Tr rack can be connected to pc using a simple usb to midi cable. Not sure if the PC cable is required.

Have found both Sound Diver 3.0 and Tinitor software versions, will try out trinitor on the w/e and see if i can get it talking to the PC.

Then its a matter of seeing if it can load presets or be upgraded. not sure what the system is inside, but i know the TR Rack contains an extra 8mb of sounds the previous keyboard versions dont have. Hopefully extra patches can be burned into the rom.
