Hello, im hoping i can get some advice here. i have been looking everyone on the web to find the answers. i debating on getting one of these units. people keep telling me not to waste time on the yamahas or rolands as the digi002 and protools can do everything they can and better.
so please tell me why should i get a the 4416/2816.
price wise the best deal i found on the 2816 was 1700 that comes with 2mics a stand, apex full headset and cdr's.

If you are into plugins go pro tools since they have plenty, but you can also get waves plugins card for the yamaha I believe. I can't stand the roland user interface and thats why I sold mine. I use Logic Audio 5 platinum right now but I am either going with the 4416 or digi 002.

Get Pro Tools, people that tell you not to waste your time are right,
PT is simple to use, comes with really professional plug ins, and the most importantly the sound quality and mastering capabilities are unbeatable.

Plus, when you tell pros and engineers you use PT and have a Digi setup, they will automatically(most of the time) take you seriously.
