Every time i wanna sample something and go in to the sampling screen on my 2000xl i hear a hiss even b4 i sample anything. I got the threshold at -20 and the gain all the way down. wheni go back 2 any other screen i dont hear that hiss no more. I cant really hear it when i got my mpc volume knob halfways up but when i turn it all the way up, thats when i can tell. As a result, everything i sample always has a lil hiss on it. By the way i dont think its the sources im sampling from cuz i'll only turn on the mpc by itself and hear this hiss when im in the sampling screen. Any suggestions on how 2 fix it.

is the source your sampling from grounded, try turning your gain down on the source, keep you gain on your mpc at half way, good luck let us kno what you find out.
