Howdy. I've been experimenting with my 8 outs. I have a program in which some sounds have effects from the MPC. When the 8 outs are rollin', I don't get the effects, but just the naked sound. This is an internal mixer issue, but I can't find the solution in the manual, nor by searching this site. Something tells me I'm screwed. Please tell me otherwise!

Can I send the effects via the 8 outs????

hmmm, good question. i dont have the fx board in my mpc, but my instincts tell me that you would have to have the fx go out the main outs, kinda like an fx send/return bus. then again, your whole sequence will pipe out the same channels, so im not too sure. somebody help this dude out!

After all the help (the big goose egg), I found a decent solution: changing the effect mixer to one of the pairs of individual outs, instead of "L/R". This menu is found under "fx edit" ONLY UNDER MULTI FX, not under REVERB 1 or 2. At the end of the chain there's a mix bar, if you hit open window, you can change the routing of the effects out.

The only drag is now that I have three programs in the machine, each with unique fx settings, I have to change the "drum" from 1/2/3 before launching into a new program. Pretty inconvenient. Whatever tho, it's something.

Thanks for the help,
