I googled the refill unpacker and a lot of the forums are saying that you need to have Reason 3? Can someone vouch for me on this?

Reason refills are accessed (unpacked) by selecting them from within Reason.
There is no refill-unpacker, the program itself does this for you.
The Reason refill-packer allows users to create and share their own sample-sets as Reason refills, the one you'll need is version specific.

like others have stated here, yes....kinda in a way you can, either thru a work around to "export them out of REASON itself........
but why not just midi shake your mpc to cpu via interface, and use reason as a sound module.....

There is a refill unpacker for reason 3 and above. Called refill viewer.
Only the samples are worth unpacking though obviously.
For the sampler patches you would need a converter to get them in mpc format or recreate all your programs from scratch with the unpacked wavs. Plus you would loose any effects added within a combinator patch etc.
It's not really much use at the end of the day.

Be aware that this is not a Propellerhead product, but some sort of hack program. In my previous post I was referrring to in-house software.

Hello, I'm using Refillviewer to extract patches with their samples from refills, but then I can open all patches on Resaon except the combinator patches. Do you know if it's normal ?

Not sure what you mean exactly.
The Reason browser has an option to display certain types of patch. Make sure you have it set to 'all instruments'
