question about oscillascope's

ok i seen 2 oscillascopes for sale but i'm not sure what type to use for music or is it the same as one you use for electronics except you plug audio into them?

not sure how they work but i'm interested in this piece of EQuipment any good reads,
i'm mostly interested in people who got oneor have used one.

haha i tend to keep an eye on the 'oscilloscope' fl studio has, to check if theres no unnecessary low frequencies, when filtering for example (mostly i look at it when soloing stuff)
i dont feel like it says a lot about the master buss..

Spectrum analyzer is all you need, if that. Ears man, ears.

We use oscilloscopes for testing in electronics. It's not intended to check mixes and not suitable for it either.
