anybody know how I can

get my vocals on both sides of the wave with cool edit?
I am usign a usb condenser mic...the Samson to be specific...

but when i record vocals...the wave is the highest on the top,and lowest at the bottom...how do i get it to be equal on both the top and the bottom?

Well most mics are mono. So you're only going to get the audio on one side or the other or atleast I never got it to record the audio on both left and right channels when I used cool edit. An easy way to fix that after you record the one channel or side is to go into Effects>Amplitude>Channel Mixer and then choose Average. That'll make it even on both channels.
