ok, this is the trouble when i lay down my own drum pattern how do i trim it ?? i tried and it wasn't in the list of things that you could trim so what do i do..
hold shift plus trim.
this takes you to the trim screen.
enter a number for your starting point.
repeat for end point.
mess around with that until it sounds good.
no, i know how to get there . i need to find out how to find a seq i just made so that i can trim it . the only thing that i see is tha number of that pads or should i say the name of tha sound thats on tha pad .
what do you mean? you want to shorten your loop or something? I don't quite catch why your pad would be involved in anyway except for "next seg". Please try to better explain what you mean akai.
You can trim your bars by arrowing to the number of bars, then with the scroll whell move it counterclockwise and it will pop open another screen where you can lengthen or shorten your bars. You can also shorten it by beats. say you have 2 bars. Navigate to the second bar 02:00:00 and highlight the beats, use the scroll wheel to change it to what ever 4/5 3/4 whatever. I think this is what you want.
