Want a multi sample gutar program for mpc 1000 that has the jack white white stripes icky thump vibe

I don't want to sample it from icky thump or his other songs, want a royalty free legal multi sample program with that sound

if you have one, what is your price and paypal if you are a gutarist and can record a kit /pgm like i'm wanting lemme know

I already bought tutor's full mpc multi sample set and asked him first if he had or was making one in that style, he said not at the moment I tried different effects in ableton on the guitars to get the sound i'm wanting but does not have the grit i'm after

Lemme know

yeah man i got your PM, i don't really have the time right now to put together what you are looking for, but possibly here in a month or so when i get done putting my house together and get moved in.

What i would suggest is looking up what type of guitar effects that jack white was using for this sound you speak of. You can run MPC samples through Guitar effects and do some pretty cool things.

i've even seen people sample blips of sound, loop them like a synth, then run them through delay/distortion/wah pedals to make one little blip sound like you are rocking a guitar solo!

Its something i've been wanting to do for some time.

I just picked up my MPC for the first time in over a year this week. lol. Been slacking.

Good luck man, and stay in touch with me about any guitar stuff. I'll be ready to rock here in the near future. Just got too much going on now and all of my equipment is spread out across the land. haha

full range multi sample pgm for mpc 1000 with that sound is what i'm after but not sampling the song itself

Yeah, I guess I need to reasearch the guitar effects themselves some more and see if I can get the guitar multi samples in tutor's set to get that crunch,

maybe one of those line 6 intefaces with podfarm can do it. Tried in ableton but either get too distorted or not enough grunge or just fake sounding grit.

I know it would be easy to sample from the song itself, but I can't because tracks I make get submitted to places like pumpaudio that can't use uncleared sampled stuff

yeah very strange... haha... maybe later I will set up an IP tunnel and check it out.

but man, what cap was saying with the guitar pedals is true man... you may have heard of divinci... if not you should for sure check him out!

here he shows how he does it... and it works very well because I have used the technique myself... :

here is him doing a track with a talkbox and mpc combo:

which is awesome.

sorry for going off topic, but cap reminded me of this guy and he is one of my favourite mpc producers.

that was cool, from a snare sample

i guess i need a stompbox foot pedal, i was just gonna layout guitar samples with the right effects chromatically in the mpc then play the notes with the mpk like anything else

that technique is wicked though

I suggest really looking into the specific sound that you want and getting good pedals. There are alot of cheap $30-40 pedals out there. But its worth the money to buy a quality product.

but contradictory to what i have just stated... jack white is known originally for his use of cheap stuff. super cheap guitars with crappy pickups and cheap effects ran through gangsta ass 60's tube amps. Ended up sounding pretty raw. So its all about trial and error to get the exact tone you are looking for.

you have any buddy's who play?

FrankieMonroe wrote:do u want just chromatic note prg or riffs and sh!t to? i'm sure i could chop my own rigs and blue box it

chromatic pgm for the 1000 although riffs would work in ableton live 8' simpler sampler.

I have guitar programs I bought from tutor, I just have not been able to get the sound I want with the effects I have. Mine end up sounding like hair metal guitar or too distorted or not enough

Icky thump from the intro to the breakdowns are the style I'm wanting, without sampling from jack white's actual records

and Cap, My brother has/plays guitar but only has an acoustic like round a campfire or something
