I suppose Dilla should take Madlib's place on my list. I read an interview with Madlib recently talking about how Dilla inspired him to put more swing in his beats. I love those janky off-rhythm drum patterns! I've been practicing that kind of drumming lately. It's really hard to do when you're so used to striving for perfect timing.

A lot of producers have some dope drums. Some have more tracks with dope drums then others. Hard to pick just one sample based producer. But the most significant one to me is Premo. Recognizable by hearing only half a measure. That typical choppy bounce and slamming drums.
