I want to continue using my two turntables which will go into a mixer for deejaying, but i also have an mpc2000xl which i want to hook up to the mixer to sample frum one of my turntables to the mpc2000xl and to also sample scratches that i do with the mixer. i want something that could be versatile in both of those regions, possibly with effects or sumthing that could help in the process of sampling frum the turntable to the mpc and also for deejaying and scratching... if theres any mixers that yu know could handle this, insights & recomendations are appreciated. thanks..

er.. ANY mixer. Buy for scratching first (rane, vestax etc), sampling second - anything that doesn't distort the sound (ie: $20 tandy mixer) is just fine. it's also better to sample a clean source without effects and add effects later.

I just got 1 of these USED.

I was actually in the market for an ELEKTRON HEAT until I stumbled upon a local deal on this [I luv LA]. I realized I missed my KAOSS kp2 which I sold to an aspiring producer. What really sold me on this was the 6 different EQ curves & the korg KAOSS pad. I’m sure it won’t be the best sounding but I already have Yamaha analog mixers for that purpose . . . . . . .

In the long-term, I may get an MPC ONE to compliment my LIVE and the cross-fader could really open up some possibilities for live sets.
