Asr-10 on the way

I got an asr-10 off ebay and its in the mail. Cant wait to start bangin out beats. ne tips or stuff i should know before i get it? holla

Hope you got the SCSI, I just got one not too long ago and it's dope. Currently it's midi'd up to my MPC and shyt sounds tight. Make sure you have the full 16 MB of ram and you may want to find an output expander for tracking purposes. Overall I think you made a good choice.

make sure you got air conditioning....that shyt gets HOT!!!!!! You could make some tea or coffee on the top of that board.

yea it got max ram and scsi wit a zip drive.. i also heard it got hot.. what would the output expander do to help me?..and how much do they run for?

I miss my ASR...

the output expander adds 6 1/4 outs to your board, theyre pretty expensive though.

The output expander is good for tracking purposes so you don't have to record one track at a time for your final mix.

hell yea that shit gets hot... just cook some eggs and bacon on that shit and ur set..

I think if you can figure out the MPC, then you can figure out the ASR-10. That thing is easy to use especially if you have the manual for referencein case you do get stuck.

I have some of it on VHS, PUt it like this....I would be able to Get down on my EPS 16+ without it!!!!
