I am thinking of getting a Kimball Organ just for fun, cuz they're super cheap on craigslist. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or comments. Is there any way I could use this with an MPC? Any tips at all?

Do you use a daw? If so, you can run vsti's of a real hammond organ and sample that.

Easy enough...right? Well, I grew up having a kimball organ in the house too, but all I can remember was I hated the cheesy sounds that thing generated.

i have the kimball 752.. and yeah, some sounds are cheesier than others, but some combinations sound pretty good
sometimes a little cheese is needed.. :) i have been thinking about modifying it though, removing/shorting some of the filters on some of the sounds. i feel it has been 'optimised' for 'home use'.. (meaning a little dull) but im not really good at soldering an circuits and stuff.. so for now, ill leave it.

using with an mpc.. if theres no jack (idk really) the only thing you can do is mic it up..

That's probably the only option available.
