how to make 1-sided audio play in both speakers?

i have a song im trying to sample and the track has the audio with the part that im trying to sample 100% to the right. is there some kind of option/effect that i can use to have this audio play through right and left speakers EVENLY.

im thinking of making an extra track, then swapping the L/R channels then COMBINE the original panned sample with the new swapped track.

would this work or is there a different way?

(im not around my own computer so i can try this out...as much as its killing me to though)

well where is the track? on the computer?

depending on the program you haveyou may have an effect such as stereo enhancer or shaper... often they have things that let you run the right side into both left and right channels....

panning the sound to the far left will turn it off.

with a non dj mixer you can overcome it by running the right channel into a channel on the mixer and leaving it panned to the center...

convert the track to mono and hey presto, you get the same signal in both speakers

1. Copy the MONO sound.
2. Pan to the opposite side as required.
3. Delay the copied signal by a few milliseconds.

Job done.

Set your mix buss to mono.

Try using a vst mono to stereo plugin.

I do everything on MPC. I'm sure someone has posted this method before and am surprised it is not mentioned here.
I get stereo sample that has what i want. say drums on left channle. simply resample main out of that sample left channle only. So therefore you get a mono (centred) sample with no balance issues.
