Recording vinyl noise over a beat it pretty weak if you ask me, you can tell a mile away.
However, if you are going to shame yourself like this, record the vinyl noise over the beat and then chop it up again so it sounds as though each hit was taken from vinyl.
There's no substitue for the real thing though, if you're serious about your beats go buy a shtty turntable from somewhere and some old records, or go around your grandad's house and rob his.
No offense to anyone intended, but I can tell a mile away when some's just layer a track of vinyl noise on their beat and I ithink it takes any credibility of the beat away.
