I didn't know where to post this so sorry if it's not in the right section.
So most of the time my drums are not really good. I sample all my drums from vinyl, and then try to layer, pitch, play with the decay, EQ, compress... but they are still not good(I'm still a beginner). So I thought of a little game to try to understand how to have good drums and see what good beatmakers can do with the samples I found.
I uploaded a kit of drums consisting of 12 kicks, 16 snares and 8 hi hats that I sampled straight from vinyl with my MPC 2000. There is no effects, it's just the samples as they are. So if people are interested, I'd like to see what you can do with those drums and see if you can make a great drum kit with it.
You can process them with everything you want(VST's, compressors, EQ, resampling, layering...) as long as you only use the samples that are in this kit. Then, post your kits here, and tell us what equipment you did use!
I think it can be pretty funny and interesting... Hope people will be interested by this
