akai mpd16

has anyone used this? i am thinking about selling my 2000xl since i basically just use it for drum programming..would this be a good alternative?

I never used it but, you mean to tell me that you only use the XL just for drum programing only!

for the most part, i have...i'm so used to cool edit for a lot of things that people would use the mpc for, when i copped the mpc, i thought i would be able to convert completely over, but i can't... so i think it makes sense money wise and beat wise for me to cop the pads..so i wanted to see if any of you have messed with it..aight peace
