8 out question about makin a stereo sound mono out

say i got like a kik snare n hihat i wanna track and they are stereo sounds can i make them mono within the mpc and only make them assign to 1 out instead of a pair of outs?

Goto trim(shift 5), then find the sound you want to change and hit open window, then hit convert. After that just assign it to a pad and change your out in the mixer section to a single mono out
