Tempo Question

I've read somewhere about it, but i can not find it. When you sample from a turntable you have there a possibility to change pitch by percent. how much cents is a change of 1 percent? For example how much percent is to drop a sample 1 whole gamma down?

you could just do this...

sample it as it is. then pitch it in the mpc

pitching it + or - 10 is equivilant to a half step.
pitching it + or - 20 is a whole step.

from what i understand. try sampling what you want as is. assign that to a pad, then go to params and pitch it -20. see if it works.
