Crystal clear sound on YouTube

Ok there be some vids out there with just audio with CLEAR SOUND. How do I go about doing that?

I transfer my beat from the MPC to Adobe Audition on my Macbook Pro. Do some EQing, efx, etc etc then mixing down the individual tracks to 1 whole song so it converts it to mp3.

I open iMovie, upload a picture then loop it throughout the beat, drop the beat in for the sound. Since you cant just upload a mp3 on youtube. Of course all yall know that.

I upload it to youtube but it says I have to compress it first so I choose "High Quality" when its finished uploading, it sounds like Shiieet! Sounds low and not enough treble. Sounds like an old cassette tape.

Any help?

leave enough headroom (i recommend -0.8 dbfs). reduces artifacts when compressed to mp3/aac.

i heard somewhere that you can bypass youtubes audio encoding bullshit by uploading a video with the audio rate at 48,000 hz

but what i've always done imported my music into WMM and then convert that file into an .mp4 file and the audio sounds pretty fine to me
