I fooled around with my multitracker this past weekend. I noticed that my beats, when separated on the multitracker, don't sound as thick the mix coming off of the mixing console. Note that every sound is separated on my mixing console too.
Anyway, does anyone else have this problem??? I feel that I could get the multitracker to sound like the mixboard by using eq and plugins and what not. But dam, I already hear the mix the way a like it, and its already sequenced.
I am interested in knowing some thoughts of producers and beatmakers about this situation. I made this post on some other boards, but I want some MPC user input- since i use an MPC as my primary piece of gear.
Peace
BTW, my multitracker is ProToolsLE 5.3.1 (24 bit, 44.1 kHz) if this matters.
