Problem with bass

Yo guys I've been making this beat with an ill sample, but there's one thing I can't explain.
Whenever I play the bass with the sample, on one certain note they 'clash'.
Now I've had this earlier, but then I could just tweak the filters.
This time I've tried all kinds of filters for both, with resonance and all.
The frequencies from where the filters let through are separated from each other like 20 'Frequencies??', so I don't understand.

Can anyone help me?

try a different bass sound

make sure the bass is in tune

go the lazy route and get rid of the bass sound in exchange for a big 808 bass drop

post up the track in question so we can hear it and actually offer advice that applies to the specific song

make a copy of your sample and filter out the highs & mids, leaving only the bass. put a low pass filter on it and mess w/ the resonance.

I tried everything you said man, but none of them worked.

@Kaybee, I don't use the low pass bass method right now, I play it myself.

oh i see what you mean, yeah.. some of the notes are not the right pitch... the sample may not be tuned the same way the bass is..

yeah well basically the easiest thing to redo the bassline. you dont even need that many notes... just use the note you know works at the beginning of the bars.. and make those longer or something... then over time you could work on it. for basslines like those sometimes it helps to pitch it up a few octaves just to make sure you hit the right keys as it's easier to hear. then once it's good put it back down the few octaves. not sure what the bassline was done with, but maybe you could do that.

trying making the samples go from stereo to mono and then widen it out in your final mix
