MPC + OctaTrack

Has anyone here used this gear combo before? I know some people might think it is redundant but they probably don't understand that the OctaTrack is a massive live performance tool and not "JUST" a sick sampler, too.

Anyway, I have an idea... that is to run my (future) MPC 1000's outputs into one of the stereo pairs on the OctaTrack for live resampling (for mangling & silky transitions) and as a massive effects box. I feel they would work really well together, especially in a live situation. Any of y'all out there working with a setup like this, even remotely? I'd love to hear what you have to say about it.

a few guys here have that piece of gear... but it's true... they haven't touched much on using them in tandem.

If you experiment with that combo... maybe post some results whether in vid or audio format..

Most definitely will. Cannot wait for the OctaTrack to be more fleshed out. Don't get me wrong, it's incredibly powerful at the moment but there are a few things Elektron's still working on (dedicated looper "machines" being one!). Think this sampler duo will be amazing.

Little do most mortals know, Thor, actually, does have the OctaTrack.
