yeah im not a fan of em the producer either. what you need to do is put together your setup and aquire your own sound. Dont try and sound like em or lil jon

I remember seeing a qoute from Luis Resto eminem's keys man on *cough* another sample site, saying that eminem used these drum sounds on 8mile..blah blah blah
anyway do a search for sample site and its one of the big ones. Good luck in your commercial ventures....

I would like to know just who "makes eminems beats for him".
I'm guessing you mean ghost producers, like the way Nephew and Battlecat and others do for Dre. I have no facts that would support that
Eminem doesn't have ghost producers; that could very well be the case.
But, lets be realisitic. The ish that he's supposedly producing is not
super-advanced. What I mean is, it's not out of the question for someone who is as new to this as Em is to be making the beats that have his name on it. Also, producing, as y'all know for a fact, is not just beatmaking.
Producing is creating an overall sound in a studio environment, directing artists to enhance thier performance, and being responsible for the overall sound. So, you could have a relatively good artist, a nice beat, and it comes out to be a terrible song, because the producer sucks, and makes bad decisions. That being said, especially in a large project, I think there should be a set of ears in the room that is solely focused on the total picture. Sometimes the producer is the engineer. Sometimes the A&R and engineer together. But, seriously, why couldn't eminem make those beats?

just a note- jus cuz someone "produced", doesnt mean they made the beat.

I really have no information about this, but to my ears it sounds like Eminem first makes the rough version of the beat, and then the pro producer steps in to spice it up a little and give it more depth and mix it down!

As I said I don't know if this is how it is, I could be totally wrong!
