Need Hip Hop

I know alot of cats use records to get that classic more grimy feel but i use alot of my media on the windows player or from sample cds.Maybe i should get a turntable to make my beats.But anyways,check it out,I sample alot of blue note(jazz)but just can't seem to get that Hip Hop feel.Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?Thanx in advance....Peace

it takes time, and constant trying. Sampling is an art, and your ears will get better as you go on... you'll learn more tricks, and develop your own style.

jus stay with it, and get it how you like it
music is an expression on oneself
look at what you like about other producers that you consider to be hip hop or whatever and see what you can use to do you
don't try to do them , jus use what they have brought to the game and do what you do, get a sound style that you feel comfortable with and build on that
