So I'm still fairly new to the MPC1000. At this point I can navigate my way around the hardware pretty easily; record, trim, chop, program, sequence. Biggest issue I have at the moment is getting my loops smooth and not choppy (i.e gaps).
Just wondering what some of your methods are for quickly making important adjustments to samples/chops to get that smooth loop happening. I'm guessing its a mixture of a few things; Pitch/tune, time stretching, patched phrase, loop mode?
Drums seem to be a lot easier to manipulate and get sounding spot on as opposed to melody loops.
Cheers.
P.S just updated to JJ OS1 v4.99
