Mixing my beats is killing my creativity!

Trying to mix my beats is killing my creativity. I will spend two hours mixing one track. I'm trying to mix my beats in an untreated room. Bad idea, I've learned. I’m trying really hard to improve. I really enjoy using studio one, its inspired me to try to mix. I live in a small apartment, so my room is small. So at the moment I said to myself do I buy some bass traps and do my best to treat this small room? Or just focus on making beats? Before I would make a certain amount of beats a month and send to an engineer online to mix for me. Any suggestions? I have two options I think:

A. Buy some acoustic stuff to try and treat my room. Buy some monitor stands. I already of a small new computer desk. Try to mix my own beats in studio one the best I can.
B. Focus on beats. I was thinking I would put my money on more vsts, or possibly purchase the MPC Renaissance. Take my best beats and have an engineer mix my instrumentals every other month or so.

Win 7 Desktop and Laptop (DJ use)
Presonus 44 VSL Interface
Yamaha HS50M Monitors
Audio Technica ATH M50 Headphones
Novation Remote SL 61 Mk1 Keyboard Controller
DAW-Studio One (Main daw for now-others FL Studio, Ableton, Reason)
NI Maschine
VST-Komplete 8 Ultimate, and more.
Turntables/DJ mixer

use headphones if you dont want to buy both monitors and have your room treated..

Headphones removes the need for room treatment..

I use some very cheap ones and they're not even for a studio purpose.. Yet they allowed me to improve my mixing a lot more and a lot quicker than when i used studio monitors in an untreated room for years, lol.. So personally i will just continue with these until i'll sooner or later make the next step and get studio headphones.

Edit: i also mix as i go along and make a track, its part of the creative process and removes a lot of time from having to do tweaks afterwards..
