Discuss the various methods you use in music production, from compressor settings to equipment type.

Hi everyone,

I'm using the mpc1k as midi-master to Live drumracks within an instrument rack on several channels. (channel 1=drums, channel2=melody, channel3=percs, etc)

As you probably know, within a given instrument rack you can select the drumrack you want to use (or whatever intrument you have in your rack) with a macro mode chain selector.

In a live context would it be possible to "assign" for example the MPC sequence#1 to all drumrack#1 within all your racks and then when I switch to the mpc sequence#2 it somehow sends a message to Live to switch to instrument#2 in all my racks?

That way I could have all my individual sliced loops drumrack change automatically when I change sequences on the mpc and be able to have looooong livesets.

Does that make any sense to you?

Thanks for your time :D
