removing vibrato from a sample?

I have a sample set of chamberlin and mellotron trumpets and saxes et cetera. It sounds great except sometimes I find the vibrato is a bit too much. I try to use it as an overdub melody but the trumpet is just a bit too proud if you know what I mean. Is it possible to use a pitch correcter to solve this? I don't want to use vocoder, and I dont want to get glitchy by chopping it up too much. Maybe is there something I could manually adjust the sample rate as the sample plays? Im also kinda curious if this is possible, what might happen to the reverb that is also pressed into the sound. If anyone knows anything please name drop some plugins or programs. I have audacity and reason, access to ableton

and just for clarity, I think vibrato and tremolo are sometimes mixed up or ambiguous on FX modules and also on classical music, what Im talking about is pitch modulation and not the amplitude modulation.

Meelodyne might help but also can damage the sound. I think I'vee heard of a program that analyzed and correct pitch modulation but as far as I remember it was more a tool for digitized tapes and records that have flutter. I don't remember the name tho.

About the reverb I think it is hard to analyze and minimize vibrato this whole sample because the vibrato of the reverb is never in sync with the virbrato of the original dry sound. Its like two layers of sounds and one of them (the dry signal) start the pitch modulation before the other (reverb) I guess its always out of phase/ not synced.

the capstan demo does 7 seconds or processing, which just so happens to be the exact length of each mellotron/chamberlin sample! Thanks for the help, Im sure Ill find a use for this whenever I work up the energy to configure the ASIO or whatevr you call it

wow, ok I got it working and it works amazingly! It can remove the vibrato from the instruments, and then most useful for the mellotron in particular, it can remove the tape wobble effects! I put the string orchestras through it, and it had no problem.
The only thing the capstan couldn't really understand was the solo male vocalist tape. I didn't expect this to work, it sounds like a trained opera singer, very over the top vibrato almost a halfstep interval, so it couldn't really do anything about it. but other than than, you got a free de wobbler for mellotron samples !
