What up,
I recentley copped a used BOSS SP303 Dr.Sample. Anyway the thing that made me copp it was 1.that i got it for like $100 an 2. the dope lo fi sampling and lo fi effect. Any way im wondering what is the best way to use the SP-303 to get a nice grimey sound? Should i sample directly to the the sp303 in lo fi sample mode then transfer then samples to my mpc, by sampling to the mpc from the 303. Or should i use midi to sequence the 303 from my mpc? Do the sounds sound different if they are coming directly from the 303 rather then from the mpc? Also is there away i can get the samples from my 303 into the computer in wav file? I mean like directly from the smart media card..im thinking if i buy a smart media card reader it should work..but not sure...also feel free to throw in any other tips you guys have about using the 303 well with the mpc...
