I've been tempted to buy one of the bundles over the years. The feedback amongst it's users seems overwhelmingly positive.

I think what stopped me was the fact that you may need to purchase more 3rd party libraries depending on what bundle you get and what your needs are. (like what kind of FX emulations are you looking for.)

I've always been real impressed by their technology and how it approaches physical modelling differently than what UAD does for example.

The CM magazine edition has some nice demo patches to check out. I'll probably PM you a link after I dig out a CM DVD. :)

I knew you'd be the first to reply!

My brother has been playing around with this today and he's blown away by how it sounds. I've been tinkering with convolution stuff for years but I haven't fully reassembled anything solid since I switched to Mac a few years ago.

I'm definitely interested in the preamp, tube and reverb packs.

Yeah the verbs are fantastic. The CM disc is only the PC Nebula 3 CM edition. I realize now the Nebula 3 Free is on their site for PC and OS X.

I'll check out the demo to make sure Cubase doesn't have a fit with it!

Oh it is greate ahas greate sound fantastic ...there are also some fantastic libarys for a reasonable prize. The eq aremore then greate but you can only use 1 band , so if you wanna use a 3 band eq you need to load 3x times nebula...it eats a lot cpu make sure you cop the pro version.
It is a bit nerdy but i luv ot

The demo isn't doing it any justice but I can hear the potential. I've been looking at 3rd party libraries and I've already earmarked a TL Audio desk and Culture Vulture processor for £15!

Drop a few recommendations.

I just got into Nebula around October after a bit of prodding from associates. It's no "philosophers stone", to my ears—it isn't hands down better than all other plug-ins on all accounts like many would lead you to believe—but there's a lot to like about it sonically. It's fairly unintuitive by the way, to me at least. Quality seems wholly dependent on the libraries you use and the audio source, to state the obvious. You can judge for yourself though, obviously. I'll send you some recommendations also, Coz. When I get back, that is.
