USB Soundcard with dual outputs

Hope this makes sense, but I brought the Akai eie the red version however, despite it having two sets out balanced outputs you can only use 1+2 and not 3+4 unless specific software specifies it which makes it redundant for me as I need to output to my monitors and the other output to my sampler which the Akai can't do.

So does anyone know of any soundcards which can do that?, max to spend is £150.

mixer alt. ouputs to MPC.

Basically any interface with a software mixer app (most interfaces have one) would let you route whatever you want to however many outputs it has.

Not sure what the issue is that would keep the 4 out EIE from doing that or if you missed something in it's routing capabilities. But if you are correct in it's limitation chalk up another one in the long list of post 2004 Akai's utter stupidity.

yeah I definitely checked, there's no internal mixer it uses asio4all but you simply can't dual output which is ridiculous.

I could connect to the mixer but thats already maxed out, maybe an audio splitter?

if your mixer is maxed-out but you wanna plug your monitors into your interface, you may need to rethink your entire signal chain... isn't this what you bought the tapco for in the first place? didn't i clearly specify how to hook everything up to your mixer in that thread? re-read that thread, man... at this point you're just making things harder on yourself.

definitely but thats my desktop setup, the laptop one which I need help is what use for graphics. I could buy another mixer but seems overkill.

so you have a separate set of monitors for a separate computer?

cheapish monitors yes, the laptop is mainly for my graphic design and illustration stuff and I like making beats when I need to destress. Plus I have the MV downstairs next to the laptop with my decks and boxes of vinyl.

then just plug your monitors into your interface, and when you occasionally want to sample from that interface into your MPC or whatever, then just route the software to play out the 3/4 outputs for that moment. i wouldn't really sweat it that much.
