How do I get this kick sound

Google side-chain compression.

Basically a kick drum triggers a slight reduction in other frequencies/sounds to let kick have have room in the mix. It's used a bit extremely here (hence that 'pumping" effect), and I think they may have edited the other audio to cut out on a couple hits too.

It's usually used in dance music like house where the bass line and a driving 4 on the floor kick are gonna clash. Here it seems to used as a more lo fi effect.

My pleasure man, hope I called it right. But it's a good technique to look at no matter what. Even in non dance genres you need to tame unruly kick/b-line clashes.

You're prolly right. I had it low and couldn't call it 100%. But hard limiter is more likely. Thanks reeloy.
