Iight I always sample sh*t in Stereo (just my samples not drums for the most part)... I do this because it gives the sample a full sound and it just becomes easier to mix everything...
Well now I have this sample that I had to sample in Mono... Now when I play the beat back everything sounds all cluttered...
I tried doubling it up spread out left and right but then this leaves a big hole in my mix... If I push it slightyl left and slightly right it sounds even more cluttered...
So basically, I got this awesome sample that sounds like sh*t because it's completely cluttered in the mix...
Any suggestions or tips???
I mean should this be easy to fix in the mix down stages or what???
I have sampled in Mono before, but those samples were easy fixes.... I just spread the sample out left and right and put a delay on each one... When I do it with this sample it sounds ridiculously cluttered...
Thanks in advance for any tips given...
