does anyone use the new maschine software with the mikro or the mk1 controllers?

how does it work for you?

im mainly wondering about the mute groups, so you can mute group A to group b, c,d, ect ect.

does this work with the old machine using the new software?

I would assume it would work as long as that feature is added..I demo'd 2.0 on my mikro and all was well. I'm sticking with the 1.8 though. There were some changes I didn't really like when I tried 2.0 and I was kinda let down..but u know there is always a work_a_round for that mute group issue, like put that last pad as note/adsr..I feel u though man..

ah yeah i was thinking the standalone maschine would be cool if it had that feature, i wonder if they used 2.0 or the old os.

don't quote me on this.. but I think when installing 2.0... you can keep 1.8. Not 100% sure on that because I didn't upgrade my installation since I don't use maschine except to bounce beats sent to me... but a friend said something about that.

2.0 software with mk1 hardware here, works perfectly. NI posted a list of upcoming 2.1 features on their forum not too long ago and it seems to address the missing things from 1.8 that I've hoped for.

Yes you can run both versions on a Mac at least, but I assume it's the same for Windows.

And yes, the Mk1 controllers are fine for Maschine 2.0.

that is good news.. I like that when software versions can install without overwriting.
