Can anyone recommend how I can get some nice synyh noises on my Mpc 2000 (beside the blatantly obvious option of recording it)

How do most people do it?
Record it sped up or do they usually use a synced up synthesiser?
Mpc 2000's are not as straightforward as S3000's in terms of keygroups and placement of notes in a keyboard sense.
Or can anyone advise a good sample cd to buy that is usable on my mpc 2000?

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Peace.

Try MPC-samples.com, I'm pretty sure they got you covered.

if you got an iPad, iPod Touch, or an iPhone, grab a few good synth apps and an iConnect MIDI box to sync it all up. Then record it to your DAW. I'm buying the iConnect MIDI 2 soon. Being able to sync up and record easily with the built in audio pass through makes it that much quicker and convenient.
