Hey Guys,
I have been playing around on my MPC 2000XL for a while and was wondering what workflow people use in recording software synth into tracks on the MPC. I have some cool synths setup in Ableton and would love to be able to play some of these synths into the MPC and do all of the sequencing and arranging there.
Sampling large sections live can be hard to sync timing. Obviously I could track everything into Ableton and resample to MPC, but I am wondering if there is an easier workflow. Does anyone have any good tips on playing self made synth from a DAW into the MPC? Do you guys prefer to create little phrases and record into MPC, create single notes and compose into MPC, or create entire sequences and bring them into the MPC?
