LFO on the 2500

Anyone ever use the LFO on your 2500?
Iv had a mess about with it but I'm not really sure what its for or why I would want to use it?
Any examples or suggestions on what its good for? Im assuming bass wobbles etc??

LFOs are generally used to modulate other parameters, which is what's happening in a bass wobble, so yes, that's one use. This review of the MPC2500 explains it pretty well:

"It's great, too, that Akai have finally added in a tempo-sync'd LFO for every sample, and that its rate and onset delay settings are usefully expressed in beats and ticks. Triangle, sine, square, sawtooth (up and down) and random waveforms are available, and they can control a sample's pitch, filter cutoff, level and pan settings. This one addition effectively gives you vibrato, autowah, tremolo and autopan effects for every sample, which again expands the sonic options enormously."

Thanks for the reply homes. Iv had a bit more of a mess about with it & kinda understand what it does now but I'm still not sure what Id use it on. Iv read that it can be used to make your sound 'bigger'.
So what are practical uses of the LFO?
Any examples or links?

As it says in the review: "vibrato, autowah, tremolo and autopan effects ". This probably applies way more to melodic sounds and not so much to percussion or hits for drum beats. You should just go search for examples on youTube because hearing the effects in action will give you far better ideas than reading about them.
