sound / tuning / time stretch / mpc2000xl

hi everybody....
i'm working with the mpc2000xl.
my question :
how can i duplicate a sound (okey i know how to duplicate a sound) / tune it differently / and afterwards time-strech it, so it matches with the original one ?

i got a sound and when i hit the 16 level option for tuning the sound differently on all 16 pads then there are 2 sounds (tuning little bit different than the original one) i really like. but the speed of the sound is diffrent. how can i tune the original sound that it matches the 16level option and how to time strech...?

i know where i can timestrech. but how can i change the tune of the sound so that i have the same sample but in a different tune (for example when you hit the button 16level and choose the sample, the sample gets played in different tunes on all the 16pads.....the thing is that the length of the sample changes as well).

i want to change the tune but that it has the same length like the original one.
what would be the best solution for doing this ?

I think he means that if he lays down a sample in 16 levels the tune (and the length) will change. Nothing can help this. 16 levels will always change the length as it changes the tune.

you can do it if you time stretch it the proper amount, then use tuning to bring it to the pitch you want.
you can also do some basic and crappy pitch shifting with the eb16fx card
this is not something the 2000 is good at - i'd make the sample on your computer using whatever program you want. if you still want a unique old-akai sound, you can use akaizer (official site is down, here is the download https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6617733/Akaizer.zip)
