Loop Problem!!!

Okay, I am using Cool-Edit Pro to track my beats.
I'm tracking each instrument in 8 bar loops. (audio not midi)
I use the bulit in metronome click to make sure that everything is in sync with the metranome. The only problem is that if I do say 10 loops, the metranome no longer matches up with the beat. But when I cut the metranome off, everything is in sync as far as the instruments go. Is it that the loops are **** up or is it the metranome. What can I do to fix this.
Any help is appreciated.

It's pretty hard to sync them to the metronome by ear for more than a few bars. Even if you're off by 1/100 of a second a bar, after 10 bars that will be 1/10th of a second. Got it?

The best solution is to sync your mpc to Cool Edit using timecode (Midi Time Code or Midi Clock). I don't use cooledit so you'll have to search the forum on how to do this.
