What audio interface would you recommend with midi, audio in and direct audio outs?

When I bought my current interface I was stuck between Focusrite and RME.
I also considered Apollo.
I build my own pc’s and didn’t want or need Thunderbolt. I decided RME as their reputation is STELLAR. I am NOT DISAPPOINTED. Rock solid drivers and software. The software is everything inside your interface on screen. Interface can record to usb stick, use without computer (all functions and features available 1 for 1), onscreen patch bay to any and all ports, wifi and bluetooth control via ios / android app. I am a customer for life if ever I decide to get something else and they have it.
Internal tools are also top notch imo. EQ, DYNAMICS, REVERB, DELAY, GAIN STAGING , all per channel. Computer and app interface are exactly the same.
A close friend asked me this question months ago, he bought the same one I have and was blown away.
If your budget allows, I’d say RME.
