Hi,

Just curious as in the past I’ve always exported by exploding tracks. This way when you bring the tracks into your DAW and set the same bpm the mpc tracks are in sync with the DAW.

My question is if you play from the outputs of the mpc directly and then record directly in your DAW how do you guys then line up what’s been recorded so that it’s in sync.

Is there an easy way? I have seen one guy on you tube who setup
The midi in on the mpc so that when you press play in your DAW it plays the mpc but there are slight delays (something around 200 cycles) which he then compensated for in his DAW recording settings. Any other techniques ?

Midi with 1 blank bar lead in so everything has time to sync.

Why do so many people ask this when it’s one of the few things that require the least brain cells.

If all audio then use a click/hhat track.
