Cubase as a Sound module???

Ive got my keyboard hooked up to my mpc and when i select channel 1B the signal goes to cubase; my problem is it doesnt matter which channel i choose, whether 2B, 3B, 4B etc. i can only playback the channel i have highlighted in cubase when i do highlight other channels it will only ever playback the selected channel, my question is how do i setup cubase and my MPC so that i can have different sounds on each Cubase channel and play them back

yeah u cant do it. at least i couldnt fig out how. u just have to sync up cubase with it and record in cubase. and just do the sequincnig in there.
