Does anybody know if this is possible? I was used to doing everything inside Logic (using Mac G4) but I've been using my MPC4k for these past few months for doing beats and having good results with groove etc.
It's alright if I'm repeating 2 or 4 bar seq in MPC but I would like to have the flexibility I had in Logic for varying the drum patterns. I end up recording to audio where I can delete or mute the separate instruments but I don't wanna have to do that too early on in the production. Song mode doesn't seem to be a fast & practical way of doing this unless you were using the MPC as your only sequencer. It would be good if you could assign a program change number to an MPC sequence and have Logic trigger which one you want exactly where you want in the arrange window.
There has to be a way of doing something like this. Unable to find any answers whether this was poss or not when doing searches. I'd appreciate any feedback. Many thanks.
