Hey... ya'll know the differences in recording... i'm talking about ad/da converters... what is the best, you think? Don't limit things in prices just tell me your opinions... for ex. yesturday we did a small experement... i had with me notebook and m-box and we were chilling in my friends house... he got Roland VS-1824 we've recorded the same stuff... and M-Box sound really DIGITAL, you know? what its all about? or its wires?)))

BIG UPS! Peace and thanks!

Go and do a google search for Lavry, Mytek, Lucid, Apogee, etc.

Just to name a few!

If money really isn't an issue - I would go for either the Lavry or Mytek.
These are really top-notch, but pricey.

And YES it makes a BIG difference which converters you use.

Lucid & Apogee are also top-notch pro converters. And aren't that much cheaper - but will kill your m-box any day.

If you need cheaper but still good converters - I would take a look at RME.

I think that should be enuff for a start.
good luck
